Mr. Phillips has extensive experience as a commercial real estate manager and leasing manager, managing a portfolio of five office buildings containing 485,924 square feet of multi-tenant office space with an annual budget of $4.9 Million in the NASA/Clearlake area of Houston, TX. The portfolio’s diverse professional tenants included NASA and contractors for NASA, such as Lockheed-Martin, Boeing, and governmental agencies such as OSHA. He also provided Landlord and Tenant Representation for the leasing of the portfolio’s office space. Since 2010, he has represented tenants in commercial lease negotiations for Class-A office space in the San Francisco bay area of California. He is a national lecturer for local REALTOR® Associations on the subject of real estate investment, real property finance: principles & applications, and commercial lease negotiations and contributed as a lecturer for the University of Tennessee’s Professional Development Program. Altogether he has presented approximately 3,188 lecture/classroom hours at the college level on real estate principles, real estate practice, real estate investment, real estate finance, real estate economics, and property management.
